Extreme Offroad Experience Kent
This is a brilliant 2 hour experience. Is it you or is it the vehicle that reaches its limitation first? Standard four wheel drive vehicles can be very good off road but their ultimate ability may be restricted by their physical shape, ground clearance, tyre tread pattern, size and drive system capability. You will have the opportunity, depending on the availability at the time of driving either the superb Jeep Wrangler straight six 4.0litre with a manual gearbox which has a list of modifications as long as your arm or a Hybrid V8 trials prepared Land Rover with an automatic gearbox. Both of these vehicles are extremely powerful and have excellent, grip, approach, departure and ramp breakover angles. This essentially means that although they are by no means invincible, it is your driving ability and importantly your response to your Instructor that will help you get the absolute best from the vehicle that is being used. We intend to keep you and the vehicle in one piece but you will be driving on some very technical sections over extreme terrain. Mud, water, deep ruts, very steep banks, gullies in open and woodland areas. Not recommended for a complete novice. The extreme off road experience takes place near Canterburyin Kent and can be on a one to one basis (sole occupancy) with an Instructor, or shared with a friend at no extra cost. Remember the first rule: Shiny side up, dirty side down at all times!
