Driving Experiences FAQ

Q) How long are the gift vouchers valid for?
A) Most of our vouchers have an expiry date of 12 months from the date of purchase. Some promotional experiences may have shorter expiry dates, and these will be detailed on your order information.

Q) Do I need a driving licence?
A) With the exception of the Junior Drive Experiences, all participants must hold a full, valid driving licence with no serious convictions. You must also be able to drive a manual transmission.

Q) What happens if I damage a vehicle?
A) You are liable for the first £5000 of any damage you cause which is beyond the normal wear and tear to the vehicle. There is an option to purchase Vehicle Damage Waiver insurance which will insure you against this, however, if the damage is a direct result of your reckless, negligent or deliberate action then you will remain liable for this £5000, regardless of whether you have Vehicle Damage Waiver Insurance or not.

Q) What happens if there is bad weather?
A) The weather should not affect any of the driving days, but if extreme weather persists (e.g. snow, fog or ice) the day may have to be cancelled for your own safety. If we cancel the event you will be given as much notice as possible and will be offered another date.

Q) Can my friends and family come along to watch?
A) Yes, spectators are welcome, although there is a strict ’No Pets Allowed’ rule at all of our venues. There are some on-site catering facilities at our venues, or if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Q) Are there any restrictions for drivers height and weight?
A) Drivers shorter than 5’0" or taller than 6’6 and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accomodated.

Q) Are there any restrictions for juniors drivers height and weight?
A) Drivers ages from 11-17 years old. Those shorter than 5’0" or taller than 6’4" and/or weighing more than 17 stone may have difficulty being accomodated.

Q) What should I wear?
A) Comfortable clothing with thin-soled shoes for driving. All safety equipment is provided.

Q) Will I enjoy myself?
