Careers: Maintenance Team

You will take ownership and accountability for the appearance of our site as well as performing any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance and using a variety of handheld and power tools.

 

Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• You will be able to do minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs
• Sets up / breaks down chairs, tables and equipment in various meeting rooms and event rooms
• Provides assistance to staff, employees, visitors and managers when called upon
• Checks buildings at the beginning and end of every shift/day and complies a report on the condition
• Install appliances and equipment
• Maintain general site appearance and cleanliness
• Ensure that all areas within the site are free from litter and that all drains are free-flowing and clean.
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Report to facilities or maintenance manager for issues
• Respond to company's maintenance emergency needs
